OutLoud After-School programs, administrated by Steckman Studio, are in cooperation with District 97 and The Multicultural Center at Julian Middle School. The objective for OutLoud programming is to engage participants in developing technical skills, self-discipline, and teamwork ethics by being part of a group performing for peers, parents and community members. OutLoud programming, consistent with the Steckman mission, is designed to be educational, therapeutic and to provide small group mentoring through; positive relationships and role models, teaching leadership and literacy skills, cultural experiences, and developing a positive sense of belonging.

OutLoud programs are supported in part through grants from; the Oak Park Township Youth Services, RBC Wealth Management Foundation, Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation, the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and the Oak Park Area Arts Council.
